zephyr sc

Like grasses in a zephyr

Like birches in a breeze

Like oaks in a hurricane

We bend where we need to

Moving with the world

Changing with the season

Ebbing with the tide.

Like spider silk in summer

Drifting on a thermal

Rising to the eagles

We flow where we’re needed

Running with the river

Sighing with the sunshine

Winding in the winds.

Like layered leaves in autumn

Crisp and crunchy crackling

Fire like and falling

We fall with them

Looping and leaping

Lakeside dreaming

Woodland creeping

Remembering to rest.
