Jan 9th, 2018 | By | Category: Book News, Books

At time of writing this blog, Moon Books has published three Fairy titles by Morgan Daimler, with a fourth book due in September, and a work in progress being shared on this blog.

On her blog, Morgan says “I have been a witch since 1991, following a path based on the Fairy Faith blended with neopagan witchcraft. ” Her work is a mixture of scholarship on fairy folklore and personal experience, making her books a compelling read. She’s always clear about what comes from exploration and what comes from written sources.

Fairy witchcraft is a short, introductory book and the first in the series. Explore a path that combines modern neopagan witchcraft with the older Celtic Fairy Faith. More about the book here –

Book two is an in-depth manual for practicing Fairy Witchcraft including theology, fairy lore, rituals, holidays, and magical practices. This book aims to pick up where Pagan Portals – Fairy Witchcraft leaves off and teach interested people the comprehensive practice of this system of honoring the Fair Folk and liminal Gods by blending the old Fairy Faith with modern paganism.

Book three aims to present readers with a straightforward guide to the older fairy beliefs, covering everything from Fairyland itself to details about the beings within it. The Otherworld is full of dangers and blessings, and this guidebook will help you navigate a safe course among the Good People.

You can also read Pagan Portals Fairy Queens here on the blog. Morgan is posting a chapter at a time as the book is written and am open to reader feedback and suggestion as she goes along. She says “At the end of a year when the book is finished it will be edited and then published in its entirety. I’m very excited to write a book in this format and to tackle this subject. I’m planning to approach this Pagan Portal a bit differently than my previous books and I hope readers will enjoy the more interactive format.”
